Brand Story
BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose story began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea for a simple accessory to shield the neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun to make motorcycle rides more comfortable.
The idea was inspired by multifunctional military scarves that could be transformed into masks or headbands. Experimentation in his family's textile factory with various materials led Rojas to create a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After prototypes were tested by relatives and friends who were athletes of Rojas’, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.
In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs by producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items for both sports and everyday life.
