The Brand

{BUFF®} is a Spanish brand whose journey began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea of a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun to make motorcycle riding more comfortable.

The concept was inspired by multifunctional military scarves that could be transformed into masks or headbands. After experimenting with different materials and cuts in his family textile factory, Rojas found a way to produce seamless microfiber tubular scarves. After testing prototypes among friends and athletes in his circle, the first collection of seamless bandanas under the BUFF® logo was launched in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs by producing not only bandanas but also various headwear items suitable for both sports activities and everyday life.
