to be called a protector, a protective device must pass rigorous tests. the attack has been tested and certified by tüv süd product service GmbH (0123) according to the 89/686ewg guideline for personal protective equipment. the shock-absorbing properties comply with the european standard en 1621-1* for back protectors.

pfas free

this deuter product is free of intentionally used pfas (per- & polyfluorinated chemicals). deuter thus reduces the use of substances that are known to harm the environment and health.

for outdoor products, pfas are primarily used for water-repellent treatments.

instead, since 2019, deuter employs alternative durable water repellency (dwr) impregnation.
