Technology

• Coolnet UV+ – made from recycled polyester fiber. The weaving method and the shape of the fibers give the fabric enhanced capillary properties, allowing it to absorb excess moisture (upon contact with wet skin), transfer it to the outer layer of the fabric, and evaporate quickly. Coolnet UV+ material is also extremely lightweight (20% lighter than classic Buff Original), stretchy and features excellent solar protection properties UPF 50+.
• HeiQ Smart Temp – an intelligent temperature-regulating technology activated by body heat to maintain optimal body temperature.
• Polygiene (Natural Silver Salt Technology) – prevents unpleasant odors. Thanks to silver threads included in its composition derived from nature with antibacterial properties—this is an active odor control technology. Brand

BUFF® – Spanish brand whose history began in 1992 when Joan Rojas realized that for a more comfortable motorcycle ride he needed a simple accessory protecting his neck and head from wind chill and scorching sunlight.

Joan was inspired by multifunctional military scarves that could transform into masks or headbands. Experiments conducted at his family's textile factory led him to create a seamless microfiber tubular scarf prototype which was tested by family friends as well as fellow athletes before launching BUFF®’s first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

By 2017 BUFF® significantly expanded its product line producing not just bandanas but other head covering items both for sports activities as well as everyday life.
