Technology

• Coolnet UV+: This material is based on recycled polyester fibers. The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that started its journey in 1992 when Juan Rojas—a motorcycle racing enthusiast and owner of a textile factory in Catalonia—decided he needed a simple accessory to shield his neck and head from wind chill while making his rides more comfortable under the scorching sun.

Eager for versatility, Rojas envisioned a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into masks or headbands. His experiments at his family textile factory led him to create a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After testing prototypes among friends and family members who shared Rojas' sporting interests, BUFF® released its first collection of seamless scarves in 1992.
