Technology

• Coolnet UV+ - this material is made from recycled polyester fibers. The weaving method enhances capillary properties that absorb excess moisture (on contact with wet skin), transferring it to the outer layer of the fabric for quick evaporation. Coolnet UV+ is also extremely lightweight (20% lighter than classic Original Buff), elastic, and offers excellent sun protection properties UPF 50+.

BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose story began in 1992 when Joan Rojas—a motorcycle enthusiast and owner of a Catalan textile factory—came up with the idea of a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold weather, and scorching sun during motorcycle rides.

Rojas loved the idea of a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into a mask or headband. Experimentation within his family's textile factory led Rojas to produce a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf. After testing prototypes among family members and friends involved in sports activities back then , he launched BUFF®'s first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

In 2017 , BUFF® significantly expanded its range by producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items suited for both sports enthusiasts as well as everyday wear.
