The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose story began in 1992 when Joan Rojas—a motorcycle enthusiast and owner of a Catalan textile factory—came up with the idea for an accessory that would protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun to make motorcycle journeys more comfortable.

This led Rojas to envision a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into various formats such as masks or headscarves. His experimentation at his family’s textile factory with different materials culminated in creating a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After testing prototypes among friends, family members, and fellow sports enthusiasts, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless scarves in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range by producing not just scarves but also other headwear items suitable for both sports activities as well as everyday life.
