Description:

The BUFF® brand originated in Spain back in 1992 when Joan Rojas—a motorsport enthusiast who owned a textile factory in Catalonia—realized the need for a simple accessory to shield his neck and head from wind, cold, and harsh sun while riding. Inspired by multifunctional military scarves that could transform into masks or headwear, Rojas experimented with various materials and cuts at his family textile factory until he developed a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After testing prototypes with relatives, friends, and athlete acquaintances of Rojas’s family, the first collection of seamless bandanas under the BUFF® logo was launched for sale in 1992.

The year 2017 saw BUFF® significantly expand its product line to include not just bandanas but also other headwear options suitable for both sports activities as well as everyday life.
