BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea for a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and the burning sun to make motorcycle riding more comfortable.

Rojas loved the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headscarf. His experimentation in his family's textile factory with various materials and cut shapes led him to discover how to produce a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf. After prototypes were tested by relatives, friends, and athletes known to Rojas, the first collection of seamless bandanas was launched under the BUFF® label in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of models by producing not just bandanas but also other headwear items suitable for both sports and everyday life.
