Technology
- Primaloft® — a synthetic material known for its high thermal insulation properties. This feature allows all products made with PrimaLoft to be shaped as needed: the clothing adapts to the body's form.
- Ultrastretch — an elastic fabric that stretches evenly in all directions due to added elastane. The main advantages of this material include moisture-wicking properties, breathability, hypoallergenic qualities, and thermal conductivity.
- High UV Protection — specially designed clothing to protect against UV rays while reducing their negative effects on your body.
The Brand
BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose journey began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, a motorcycle enthusiast and owner of a Catalan textile factory, conceived a simple accessory to shield the neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun for more comfortable motorcycle travels.
The idea was to create multifunctional military-style scarves that could also be transformed into masks or headbands. Experimentation at his family’s textile factory with various materials led Rojas to discover how to produce seamless microfiber tubular scarves. After prototypes were tested by family members and athletes close to Rojas, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless scarves in 1992.
No stranger to innovation, BUFF® significantly expanded its range in 2017 by producing not only scarves but also other headwear suitable for both sports enthusiasts and everyday life.
