BUFF® is a Spanish brand that kicked off in 1992 when Joan Rojas, a motorcycle enthusiast and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea for a simple accessory to shield his neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun to make motorcycle rides more comfortable.

Rojas loved the concept of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headscarf. After experimenting with different materials and cut shapes in his family’s textile factory, he discovered how to produce a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. Once prototypes were tested by family and friends along with Rojas' sporty acquaintances, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

By 2017, BUFF® had significantly broadened its range of products, creating not only bandanas but also various headwear items suitable for both sports and everyday life.
