This deuter product is free from intentionally added PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated chemicals), helping to minimize harmful substances that could impact health and the environment.

For outdoor gear, PFAS are often used for water-resistant treatments.

Since 2019, deuter has opted for alternative DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation instead.
