The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that started its journey in 1992 when Juan Rojas, an avid motorbiker and owner of a textile factory in Catalonia, realized he needed a simple accessory to protect his neck and head from wind chill and harsh sunlight for more comfortable travels.

Pondering over the idea of multifunctional military scarves capable of transforming into masks or head wraps led Rojas to experiment with different materials at his family’s textile factory until he discovered how to make seamless cylindrical microfiber scarves. After testing prototypes among friends and family members who were athletes themselves, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

By 2017, BUFF® had significantly expanded its range by producing not only bandanas but also various headwear options suitable for both sports activities and everyday life.
