Montane Jacket Flux – your go-to winter insulated jacket that's perfect as a standalone piece or as a base layer. Unlike natural down, the synthetic insulation in this jacket maintains excellent performance even when wet. Plus, it's windproof, weather-resistant, warm, and breathable, making it an ideal choice for nearly all types of winter mountaineering.

The outer fabric of the jacket is made from Pertex® Quantum ECO, which effectively protects against wind and snow while being crafted from recycled materials. This jacket features reliable Primaloft® Silver synthetic insulation that has proven its effectiveness in the toughest conditions over many years. Each fiber of Primaloft insulation is treated with a durable water-repellent finish, meaning it hardly absorbs water and dries very quickly. The fibers are also extremely thin and soft, allowing them to compress easily while springing back to provide essential warmth.

It comes with a fully insulated and well-fitting hood that can accommodate a climbing helmet underneath. The hood is fully adjustable with an elastic drawcord at the back that efficiently reduces volume and snugly fits around your head. For storage, there are four zippered external pockets: two hand pockets and two chest pockets; inside there's a handy pocket designed to hold water so it doesn’t freeze or to stash your gloves away. The cuffs feature partially elastic and partially Velcro closures to ensure they fit snugly over your wrists and gloves. You can also easily tighten the hem using special drawcords even while wearing gloves.
