Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea for a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and harsh sun while making motorcycle journeys more comfortable.

Rojas liked the concept of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask, headband, or scarf. His experimentation in his family's textile factory with various materials and cutting shapes led to him discovering how to produce a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf. After prototypes were tested by family members, friends, and athletes he knew, the first collection of seamless bandanas was launched under the BUFF® brand in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs, producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items for both sports activities and everyday life.
