BUFF® is a Spanish brand that started its journey in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea of a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and blazing sun for a more comfortable motorcycle ride.

Rojas was inspired by the idea of multifunctional military scarves that could transform into masks or headscarves. His experimentation in his family textile factory with various materials and cutting shapes led to discovering how to produce a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After prototypes were tested by family members, friends, and Rojas's athlete acquaintances, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of models, producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items for both sports and everyday life.
