Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea for a simple accessory to protect the neck and head against wind, cold, and harsh sunlight to make motorcycle journeys more comfortable.

Rojas was inspired by the concept of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headband. Experimenting with various materials and cutting shapes in his family's textile factory led Rojas to discover how to produce a seamless cylindrical microfiber scarf. After prototypes were tested by family members, friends, and athletes known to Rojas, the first collection of seamless bandanas under the BUFF® brand was launched in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of styles by producing not only bandanas but also various headwear items suitable for both sports and everyday life.
