Brand Story

BUFF® is a Spanish brand founded in 1992 by Juan Rojas, who was passionate about motorcycle racing and owned a textile factory in Catalonia. He realized he needed a simple accessory to protect his neck and head from wind chills and the blazing sun to make his journey more comfortable.

Rojas liked the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could transform into a mask or headscarf. His experimentation with various materials at his family’s textile factory led him to find a way to produce seamless microfiber tubular scarves. After testing prototypes among relatives and friends of Rojas's sports circles, the first collection of seamless bandanas under BUFF® launched in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs by producing not just bandanas but also other headwear items suitable for both sports enthusiasts and everyday life.
