The Brand BUFF® is a Spanish brand founded in 1992 by Joan Rojas, who was passionate about motorbikes and owned a Catalan textile factory. He conceived the idea of creating a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold weather, and blazing sun to enhance motorcycle riding comfort.

Rojas envisioned a multifunctional military scarf capable of transforming into masks or headwear. His experimentation with different materials led him to create the first seamless microfiber tubular scarf prototype. After testing prototypes with family members and sports friends , BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

In 2017 BUFF® significantly expanded its product range beyond bandanas to include various headwear items suitable for both sports activities as well as everyday use.
