The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Juan Rojas—a motorcycle racing enthusiast and owner of a textile factory in Catalonia—saw the need for a simple accessory that would protect his neck and head from incoming winds, cold air and scorching sun while making his rides more comfortable.

Rojas loved the idea of a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into a mask or wrap. His experimentation at his family's textile factory with various materials led to developing the first seamless microfiber tube scarf. After testing prototypes among family members and friends with Rojas' sporting acquaintances in 1992 BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas.

In 2017 BUFF® expanded its range significantly producing not just bandanas but other headwear items suitable for both sports activities as well as everyday life.
