Technology

• Pertex® Quantum – this material features a woven membrane made from incredibly fine fibers, characterized by relatively high durability. The exceptional softness of this material allows the down or synthetic insulation to fill the entire allocated volume while the dense weave prevents insulating fibers from penetrating through the material.
• Fill Power –a measure that describes how well a limited mass of down can fill a specific volume. Physically, Fill Power refers to the volume in cubic inches occupied by one ounce of down. The higher the Fill Power, the better quality of down it is considered. Outdoor gear typically uses Fill Power values of at least 550 units; values of 650 units and above are regarded as good. High Fill Power down is distinguished not only by a larger volume per unit mass but also by lower thermal resistance per thickness compared to standard values.
