BUFF® – a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Joan Rojas, owner of a Catalan textile factory and motorsport enthusiast, realized the need for a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind chill and harsh sun during motorcycle rides.

The idea of creating multifunctional military-style scarves that could transform into masks or headwear appealed to Rojas. Experiments with various materials at his family's textile factory led him to develop seamless microfiber tubular scarves. After prototypes were tested by family members and athlete friends, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

A noticeable expansion occurred in 2017 when BUFF® diversified its product range beyond bandanas to include other headwear suitable for both sports and everyday life.
