Construction:

Perwanger Leather

Established in the heart of the Italian Alps, the Perwanger tannery boasts a family tradition extending over two centuries, expertly passed down for five generations since 1780. Originally servicing local shoemakers, Josef Perwanger enhanced the leather's water-repellent properties in the 1970s, mitigating climbers' reliance on greasing their boots. The innovative suede Nepal Perwanger has transitioned into widespread use among mountain footwear, outdoor leisure, and safety shoes thanks to its unbeatable water resistance and breathability.

- For heavy dirt, use a wet brush with water.

- Avoid degreasing cleansers or nitro-based solvents.

- Nepal suede leather features a water-repellent treatment typically requiring no renewal. For additional waterproofing, use only water- or silicone-based products. Other substances may compromise waterproof properties.

- Avoid any oily or animal fat-based products on Nepal suede leather.

- Steer clear of acids or acidic products.

- If the leather becomes wet, allow it to air dry at room temperature, far from direct heat sources.
