the stowable helmet holder has two functions:

• first, it securely holds your helmet on top of the backpack.
• secondly, it protects your gear from the rain.

when not in use, you can easily roll it up and stash it in the designated compartment, with a velcro fastener to keep it in place.

sl women’s fit

this model is also available in the sl version, specifically designed for women: women generally have shorter backs than men, so the sl carrying system is a bit shorter than in deuter's standard backpacks. plus, it's specially tailored to fit the female anatomy. check out more info about our .
