The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand founded in 1992 by Juan Rojas. A motorcycling enthusiast who owned a textile factory in Catalonia, he realized he needed a simple accessory to protect his neck and head from the impending wind chill and blazing sun for more comfortable travels.

The idea of a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into a mask or headband sparked Rojas’s creativity. His experimentation with different materials and cut shapes led him to create a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After family members, friends, and sports acquaintances tested prototypes, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

Date-wise ahead of the game since then! In 2017 BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs beyond just bandanas to encompass various headwear suitable for both sports enthusiasts and everyday life.
