Brand

The BUFF® brand is Spanish with a history that began in 1992 when Joan Rojas—an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory—came up with the idea for a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and blazing sun to make motorcycling more comfortable.

Rojas liked the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could transform into a mask or headband. Experimentation at his family’s textile factory with different materials led Rojas to create a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. Once prototypes were tested by family members, friends, and athlete acquaintances of Rojas', the first collection of seamless bandanas was launched under the BUFF® brand in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range by producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items for both sports enthusiasts and everyday life.
