Over a century ago, in 1907, in the town of Voiron near Grenoble (France), carpenter Abel Rossignol founded a small company specializing in producing wooden items for the textile industry. Even then, Abel was dreaming about creating his own wooden skis. Four years later, the first pair of skis was born.
