Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist with a textile factory in Catalonia, came up with the idea of creating a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and harsh sun to make motorcycle travel more comfortable.

Rojas liked the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headband. Experimenting with various materials and cut shapes at his family textile factory led Rojas to create a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf. After prototypes were tested by friends, relatives, and athletes Rojas knew about; BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

By 2017 , BUFF® had significantly expanded its range of products beyond just bandanas to include other headwear articles suitable for both sports activities as well as everyday life.
