Technology
- Your buddy PrimaLoft® is a synthetic material renowned for its high thermal insulation properties. Lab tests show that PrimaLoft has the same softness as goose down but is much softer than similar insulating materials. This feature allows all products made from it to mold perfectly to your shape.
- Your friend ThermoNet® quickly wicks moisture away from your skin while retaining heat inside, keeping you comfy even in extreme conditions. Despite its innovative nature, ThermoNet® bandanas and hats have inherited all the best qualities and versatility of their predecessors.
The Brand
(BUFF®) is a Spanish brand that started back in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea for a simple accessory to protect his neck and head against wind, cold, and blazing sun, making motorcycle rides much more comfortable.
The concept of a multifunctional military scarf which could morph into a mask or headscarf was appealing to Rojas. Experimenting in his family's textile factory with various materials led him to create a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf prototype. After testing with family members, friends, and sports enthusiasts he knew, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.
By 2017, BUFF® had significantly expanded its range by producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items suitable for both sports activities and everyday life.
