Technology

• Aircontact System is a suspension system that makes carrying heavy loads easier. The Aircontact cushions consist of specially designed large-pore foam that provides fantastic ventilation through a pump effect during movement. With a snug fit against the back, the center of gravity is closer to your body, leading to optimal weight distribution.
• 3D-Air-Mesh is a polyester mesh, having a thickness of 3 mm or more, meaning it's three-dimensional (3D). Thanks to its optimal breathability and cushioning effect, it's the perfect material for the outer layer of the back cushions, shoulder straps, and hip belts. It's highly durable and ensures comfort.
• 600D PES RIPSTOP is an incredibly strong and wear-resistant polyester fabric. It can be used in two versions – a more robust Super Polytex and a lighter 225D Ripstop Polytex. Like all backpacks, it features a polyurethane (PU) coating for extra water resistance. However, it’s important to remember that it does not guarantee 100% protection against prolonged moisture exposure, as the seams and zippers are not sealed. Therefore, using the rain cover, which comes standard with all Deuter biking backpacks, is essential.
• 420D PA is a lighter polyamide fabric with a very tight and smooth weave, resistant to abrasion and with excellent dirt-repellent properties. It also undergoes PU treatment.
