Vibram

In 1935, a tragedy inspired Vitale Bramani to develop an outsole designed for excellent traction on mixed surfaces. Utilizing vulcanized rubber technology, he came up with the Carrarmato design, which quickly gained fame. Even today, it remains one of the preferred soles among mountain climbers. Asolo’s footwear incorporates outsoles designed by Asolo and produced by Vibram.

Schoeller Soft Shell Technology

The foundations of today’s Schoeller Textil AG were laid during a time of new beginnings. In the 1860s, organizations like the Swiss Red Cross emerged, along with architectural marvels such as the Gotthard Tunnel. This pioneering era also saw the birth of our company: In 1868, Rudolph Schoeller moved from Breslau to Zürich, establishing Switzerland’s first worsted yarn spinning mill in Schaffhausen under the name “Schoeller & Söhne," marking the start of today’s Schoeller Textil AG.
