Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose story began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a textile factory in Catalonia, came up with the idea of a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun to make motorcycle riding more comfortable.

Rojas was inspired by the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headscarf. Experimentation in his family's textile factory with various materials led Rojas to discover how to produce seamless microfiber tubular scarves. After testing prototypes with family members, friends, and his athletic acquaintances, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its product range by producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items for both sports and everyday life.
