BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Joan Rojas, owner of a textile factory in Catalonia and an avid motorsport enthusiast, realized the need for an accessory to protect his neck and head from wind chill and harsh sunlight while riding motorcycles.

The idea of a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into a mask or headwear fascinated Rojas. Experiments at his family textile factory with different materials led him to create seamless microfiber cylindrical scarves. After testing prototypes with family members, friends, and athlete acquaintances, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

The brand expanded significantly in 2017 by introducing not only bandanas but also other types of headwear suitable for both sports and everyday life.
