Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose history began in 1992, when the owner of one of the Catalan textile factories, Joan Rojas, a motorcyclist, came to the conclusion that for a more comfortable motorcycle ride a simple accessory was needed to protect the neck and head from headwind, cold and scorching sun.

Rojas liked the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask, headdress or scarf. Experiments at his family textile factory with different materials and cuts culminated in Rojas finding a way to produce a seamless cylindrical scarf made of microfiber. After prototypes were tested by Rojas's relatives, friends and fellow athletes, the first collection of seamless bandanas under the BUFF® logo was launched in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its product line, starting to produce not only bandanas, but also other headwear for both sports and everyday life.
