Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose history began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, passionate about motorcycles and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea of a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun to make motorcycle journeys more comfortable.

Rojas liked the concept of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headscarf. Experimenting in his family's textile factory with different materials and cut shapes led Rojas to discover how to produce a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After prototypes were tested by relatives, friends, and athletes known to Rojas, the first collection of seamless bandanas was launched under the BUFF® brand in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of models by producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items for both sports and everyday life.
