The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand founded in 1992 by Juan Rojas, who was passionate about motorcycle racing. He recognized the need for a simple accessory to protect his neck and head from approaching winds, cold weather, and harsh sun while making his journeys more comfortable.

The idea of a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into a mask or headwear was appealing to Rojas. His experimentation with various materials in his family textile factory led him to create a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After testing prototypes among friends and fellow athletes, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

Soon after expanding its range significantly in 2017, BUFF® began producing not just bandanas but also various headwear items suitable for both sports activities and everyday life.
