BRAFF® is a Spanish brand founded in 1992 by Juan Rojas. As an avid motorcycle racer with expertise in textile manufacturing in Catalonia, he needed a simple accessory to shield his neck and head from incoming winds as well as cold temperatures while making his journeys more comfortable.

The idea was inspired by military-style multifunctional scarves that could turn into masks or headgear. After experimenting with various materials at his family’s textile factory,Rojas discovered how to create seamless microfiber tubular scarves. Following testing prototypes among friends,family,and athlete acquaintances,the first BUFF® collection of seamless bandanas launched in 1992.

Soon after,in 2017,BUFF® significantly expanded its range by introducing not only bandanas but also other headwear suitable for sports as well as everyday use.
