Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that started in 1992 when Joan Rojas, a motorcycle enthusiast and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea of a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and harsh sun to make motorcycle rides more comfortable.

The idea was inspired by multifunctional military scarves that could be transformed into masks or headbands. Experimentation in his family textile factory with various materials and cut shapes led Rojas to create a seamless microfiber tubular scarf. After testing prototypes with relatives, friends, and athletes he knew, the first collection of seamless bandanas under the BUFF® label was launched in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs by producing not only bandanas but also other headwear for both sports and everyday life.
