BUFF® is a Spanish brand that started its journey in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea of a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and the blazing sun to make motorcycle riding more enjoyable.

Rojas liked the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headscarf. Experimenting in his family's textile factory with various materials and cutting shapes led Rojas to discover how to create a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf. After testing prototypes on friends, family members, and athletes he knew, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs, producing not only bandanas but also other headwear items suitable for both sports and everyday life.
