The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Joan Rojas—a motorcycle enthusiast who owned a Catalan textile factory—came up with the idea of creating a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and harsh sun during motorcycle rides.

The concept was inspired by military multi-functional scarves that could be transformed into masks or head coverings. Experimenting with different materials in his family’s textile factory led Rojas to develop a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf. After prototypes were tested by family members along with friends who were athletes themselves, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas back in 1992.

This brand expanded significantly in 2017 by offering not just bandanas but also various headwear items suitable for both sports enthusiasts and everyday life.
