Technology

• Primaloft® is a synthetic material known for its high insulating properties. Laboratory studies have shown that PrimaLoft has the same softness as goose down, being much softer than similar insulating materials. Thanks to this characteristic, products made from it conform perfectly to fit: clothing takes on a tailored shape.

Brand

BUFF is a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Juan Rojas, owner of a Catalan textile factory and motorsport enthusiast, realized that he needed a simple accessory for more comfortable motorcycle riding to protect his neck and head from the wind, cold, and blazing sun.

Rojas liked the idea of a multifunctional military scarf that could transform into a mask, headwear or scarf. Experiments at his family’s textile factory with various materials and cuts resulted in developing a seamless cylindrical microfiber scarf. After prototypes were tested by relatives, friends, and athlete acquaintances of Rojas, the first collection of seamless bandanas under the BUFF logo was launched for sale in 1992.

In 2017 BUFF significantly expanded its product line to include not only bandanas but also other headwear suitable for both sports and everyday life.
