Brand Story BUFF® is a Spanish brand whose history began in 1992 when Joan Rojas, an avid motorcyclist and owner of a Catalan textile factory, came up with the idea of creating a simple accessory to protect the neck and head from wind, cold, and scorching sun to make motorcycle journeys more comfortable.

Rojas loved the idea of multifunctional military scarves that could transform into masks or headbands. Experimenting at his family’s textile factory with different materials led Rojas to create a seamless microfiber cylindrical scarf. After testing prototypes with family members, friends, and fellow sports enthusiasts Rojas launched BUFF®'s first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

In 2017 BUFF® significantly expanded its range of designs producing not only bandanas but also other head-covering items for both sports and everyday life.
