Brand
BUFF® is a Spanish brand founded in 1992 by Juan Rojas, who was passionate about motorcycle racing and owned a textile factory in Catalonia. He realized he needed a simple accessory to protect his neck and head from approaching winds, cold weather, and harsh sun to make his journeys more comfortable.
Rojas liked the idea of a multifunctional military-style scarf that could transform into a mask or headband. Experimentation at his family's textile factory with different materials led Rojas to create the first seamless microfiber tubular scarf prototype. After testing prototypes with family members, friends, and athletes he knew, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless scarves in 1992.
By 2017, BUFF® had significantly expanded its range of designs by producing not only scarves but also other headwear items for both sports enthusiasts and everyday life.
