The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand that began its journey in 1992 when Juan Rojas—a motorcycle racing enthusiast and owner of a textile factory in Catalonia—felt the need for a simple accessory to protect his neck and head from approaching winds, cold weather, and scorching sun during his rides.
Loving the idea of a multifunctional military-style scarf that could be transformed into a mask or headwear item led Rojas to experiment with various materials at his textile factory until he discovered how to produce seamless microfiber tubular scarves. After testing prototypes with family members, friends, and fellow athletes in Rojas' circle, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.
Since then (especially by 2017), BUFF® significantly expanded its range by producing not just bandanas but also various other headwear items suitable for both sports activities and everyday life.
