The Brand

BUFF® is a Spanish brand founded in 1992 by Joan Rojas, who sought to create a simple accessory that would enhance comfort while riding motorcycles by protecting the neck and head from wind chill and intense sun exposure.

The idea stemmed from multifunctional military scarves capable of transforming into masks or other headwear. After experimenting with various fabrics at his family textile factory, Rojas developed a seamless microfiber tube scarf. Following tests with family members and athlete friends, BUFF® launched its first collection of seamless bandanas in 1992.

In 2017, BUFF® notably expanded its product line beyond bandanas to include various headwear suitable for both sports and everyday life.
